Chris Mott is in his eighth season with the Tomcats. A 1994 graduate of Marietta College, Mott was part of four Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Championships and advanced to the Division III College World Series twice. Mott was the OAC Tournament MVP in 1992, an honorable mention All-OAC and All-Mideast Region selection in 1993 and was an All-OAC Second Team member twice.

Mott owns and operates Premier Stamping and lives with his wife, Nikki, along with their children, Joe and Haylee, in Kinsman, Ohio.
