Ten members of the 2009 Thiel College football team have been named to All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference teams, the league has announced. The Tomcats landed two players on the first team – second only to league champion Thomas More, two on the second team, and six to the honorable mention squad.

Saturday's Mercer County Cup face off proved to be a tale of two halves for the Tomcats as they suffered a 24-31 loss at the hands of the Grove City College Wolverines.  The Tomcats finished their 2009 season with a 3-7 overall record and a 1-5 conference record.
