Madison Chylik (Valley View, Ohio/Cuyahoga Heights) (Valley View, Ohio/Cuyahoga Heights) has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference volleyball Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Chylik notched 113 assists (9.42 assist/set) and 46 digs (3.83 digs/set) for the Tomcats last week, as Thiel went 3-0 in PAC action, including wins over Westminster and Thomas More who were both previously unbeaten in league play. She posted a high of 41 assists in the five-set win over the Saints.
Chylik is the second Thiel player to earn the honor this season. Freshman Alyssa Chine earned the award for the week of Sept. 21.
The Tomcats (16-7; 7-1 PAC) return to the court on Tuesday when they welcome Saint Vincent for a 7 p.m. match.
