LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 31, 2009) – The Thiel College women earned a seventh place finish at the 2009 Presidents' Athletic Conference cross country championships hosted by Saint Vincent College on Saturday.
Sophomore
Tiffany Blosser (Fairchance/Albert Gallatin) (Fairchance, Pa./Albert Gallatin), per usual, paced the Thiel women, with a 32nd place time of 26:43 on the six-kilometer course.
Senior
Rebecca Walton (Webster, NY/Webster Thomas) (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) (43rd/28:04) and sophomore
Tara Sturey (Cochranton, Pa./Cochranton) (Cochranton, Pa./Cochranton) (48th/28:44) rounded out the Tomcat finishers in the event's top 50.
Senior
Sarah McAfee (Butler/Butler) (Butler, Pa./Butler), sophomore
Lynette Enterline (New Waterford, Ohio/Crestview), freshman
Satbyul Park (Korea/), and freshman
Clare Rech (Austintown, Ohio/Austintown-Fitch) (Austintown, Ohio/Fitch) rounded out the Thiel scorers.
Grove City won the team title.
