Eaton and Coley Race to Final Round

Terre Haute, Ind. (March 13, 2009) -- Friday the thirteenth proved to be business as usual for Thiel College speed demons, Dorran Coley and Alex Eaton, with each reaching the finals of their respective events.
Coley began the day for the Tomcats tying for second in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 7.53, while Eaton ended up taking first place in his preliminary heat with a time of 48.79 in the 400-meter dash.
The Thiel College will be competing in three events Saturday, starting with Coley's final chance to become an indoor national champion in the 55-meter high hurdles at 2:35 p.m. Eaton will return to action at 3:05 p.m. in the final heat of the 400, while both Coley and Eaton, along with Deighton Williams and Ethan Rowe, will finish things up at 4:55 p.m. in the 4x400-meter relay.
