WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. (Jan. 15, 2010) – The Thiel College wrestling team dropped a, 34-4, decision to No. 16 Wilkes University on Friday on the first day of the Budd Whitehill Duals hosted by Lycoming College.
Sophomores
Alec Miller (Transfer, Pa./Grove City) (Transfer, Pa./Grove City)and
Kraig Smith (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell) picked up Thiel's only wins of the day in the 165lbs and 285lbs matches.
Miller earned a, 4-1, win over Dustin Stough, while Smith picked up his decision via forfeit.
The Budd Whitehill Duals resume on Saturday.
