WEXFORD, Pa. (March 2, 2010) – Three members of the 2009-10 Thiel College men's basketball team have been named to All-Presidents' Athletics Conference squads, Executive Director Joe Onderko announced on Tuesday morning.
Freshman
Blair Rozenblad (Youngtown, Ohio/Kennedy Catholic) earned first team honors, while junior
Devon Adams (Philadelphia, Pa./George Junior Republic) and senior
Sean Devinney (Arsenal, Pa./Central Catholic) (Arsenal, Pa./Central Catholic) were named to the second and honorable mention teams, respectively.
Rozenblad was perhaps the best player in the league, statistically, last season, having led the PAC in scoring (21.8 ppg) and ranking third in rebounding (7.7 rpg). He also ranked in the top ten in the PAC in field goal percentage (.500), steals (1.68 spg) and minutes played (30.88 mins/gm).
Adams also turned in a solid season for the Tomcats, scoring 17.4 points per game, while ranking second in the league in assists with 4.16 per contest. Adams also tossed in three-pointers – 60 of them – at a .403 clip, which ranked third in the PAC.
Devinney ranked 14th in the league in scoring, tossing in 11.2 points per game. He also ranked fifth in the PAC in field goal percentage, converting at a .543 rate.
Thiel finished its season 14-11 – the program's best campaign since going 16-12 in 2002-03.
