INDIANA, PA. (April 18, 2010) -- The Thiel College men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Ed Fry Invitational at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania on Saturday.
Leading the way for the Thiel women was freshmen phenom,
Brittany Brown (Pelham, N.Y./Pelham Memorial), who tied for third in the women's high jump with a leap of 1.54-meters.
The distance running combination of,
Richard Peterson (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) and
Regis Wagner (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley), led the way for the men, earning second and third place, respectively, in the 5000-meter run.
Ethan Rowe (Fairmont City, Pa./Redbank Valley) also had a strong showing, finishing fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 51.29, while Scott Stano finished fifth in the javelin with a heave of 49.14-meters.
On Saturday, April 24, the men and women head to Berea, Ohio to compete at the Baldwin-Wallace Invite.
