WEXFORD, Pa. (June 28, 2010) – A total of 34 Thiel College student-athletes have been named to the Presidents' Athletic Conference Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2010 semester. The PAC Academic Honor Roll honors student-athletes on winter and spring varsity sports teams who have earned a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.6 or higher on a 4.0 scale during their semester of competition.

With 34 honorees, Thiel surpassed last spring's total sections by six.  In addition to the 32 Tomcats named to the PACs fall honor roll, 66 student-athletes were recognized in 2009-10 – an increase of 16 over the 2008-09 total.

In all, 327 student-athletes league-wide were named to the Spring 2010 list. Combined with 314 honorees on the fall honor roll, the PAC honored a total of 641 student-athletes during the 2009-10 academic year, a six percent increase from the 2008-09 total of 606 honorees.

Westminster College led the 10 league schools as 53 Titan student-athletes earned PAC Academic Honor Roll laurels in the spring, followed by Grove City College (45), Washington & Jefferson College (44), Waynesburg University (39), Thiel College (34), Thomas More College (26), Geneva College (23), Saint Vincent College (23), Bethany College (22) and Chatham University (18).
