Thiel College

GREENVILLE, Pa. (July 14, 2010) – Thiel College director of athletics Jack Leipheimer announced the appointment of Kevin Fenstermacher to the position of associate director of athletics on July 14.

Fenstermacher previously served as the College’s sports information director from 2001-2005 and added the title of assistant athletic director in 2005 before spending the past two years as a member of the information technology department at the College.
 
In addition to continuing his efforts as the College’s NCAA compliance coordinator Fenstermacher will oversee the day-to-day operations of the athletics media office and its two assistant directors, take a lead role in promoting and managing the College’s new air-supported dome structure, assist in the planning and promotion of athletic-related summer camps, and collaborate with departmental personnel and other campus constituencies to help in the areas of academic monitoring and student-athlete support.

The Erie, Pa. native is a 2000 graduate of Bethany College (W.V.) and anticipates earning a master’s of science degree in leadership with a concentration in sports leadership from Duquesne University in the spring.
