DEFIANCE, Ohio -- The Thiel College men's soccer team saw their record slip to 1-2 after a loss at the hands of Greenville College (2-1) by a score of 2-1 at the DC Classic Tournament in Defiance, Ohio on Saturday.

The Panthers of Greenville College were able to get on the board first in the 31st minute when out to a 1-0 lead when Terrance Cosby was able to find the back of the net. Just Seven minutes later, Junior Darwin Porras (Miami, Fla., Coral Reef) was able to find the netting to tie the game at 1-1 going into the half. 

The second half saw great play from both sides but in the 61st minute Greenville was able pull ahead  on a goal off the foot of Daniel Taylor. That goal would prove to be the game winner as the Panthers handed Thiel their second straight loss.

Thiel's next game is on Sunday, September 5 at 1 p.m. against host Defiance College.
