GREENVILLE, Pa. – Corey Brown (Greenville, Pa./Reynolds) and Billy Roosa (Salamanca, N.Y./Ellicottville Central) each collected pin fall victories in the Tomcats' 33-9 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) dual meet win over visiting Washington & Jefferson College Friday evening at Beeghly Gymnasium.

Thiel (1-1, 1-0) claimed individual match wins at the 133-pound and 184 pound-classes by pin fall, with Brown dispatching Charles Baugher at 133 (3:37) and Roosa winning at 184 over Steve Thornton (3:12).

Brown, currently sixth in the latest Brute – Adidas National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III individual rankings, improved to 13-1 on the season with the win while Roosa pushed his overall season mark to 9-6.

Sean Byham (Saegertown, Pa./Saegertown) moved his season record to 11-6 after earning a 16-0 (7:00) technical fall win over the Presidents' Roja Stephenson at 141 pounds.

Brothers Matt Lowry (Smithfield, Pa./Albert Gallatin) and Jacob Lowry (Smithfield, Pa./Albert Gallatin) posted back-to-back wins with Matt claiming 3-0 decision over David DiBenedetto at 165 pound and Jacob earning a 21-8 major decision over Eric Kohr.

Matt improved to 8-3 while Jacob pushed his season mark to 11-5.

At 197 pounds Patrick Morris (Graysville, Pa./West Greene) moved his season record to 11-4 with a 4-1 decision over Theron Mitchell.

After breaking for the holiday season Thiel will return to action on Saturday, January 7 at t he Waynesburg University Invitational. Matches are set to get underway at 9 a.m.
